[HP] WIP Quidditch Pitch: Updated Again!

I've been thinking about starting this project for quite a while now. Since I got another Quidditch Pitch set for Christmas I decided to start. I'm going to make a Lego Quidditch Pitch, with stands, two sets of goals and four (maybe six, but probably not) players on each team.

Looks good so far! It really looks builder friendly. Might I suggest some texturing in the field?

@TMP: It's meant to be flat...

Since I posted this topic, I have taken those two stands and changed them into one larger stand with a tunnel underneath for the players to come through. I will be doing that with the Ravenclaw and Slytherin stands as well. I am going ot make some black and white tall thin stands. I already need to make a PAB order for more brown and green so I can extend the pitch and start on the main stands. I will take a new pic when my brother wakes up (could be around midday )!

I scrapped the separate stands and created a joint one, with a tunnel underneath for the players to come through. I am going to do this with the Ravenclaw and Slytherin stands as well.



This is the size of the pitch itself, outside it there will be stands. Don't expect any more updates on this project for a week or so because PABs take a while to arrive.

@fithboy: I thought the Quidditch Pitch was kinda hilly (like not mountain hilly, but like not perfectly flat either)

He's right it was sloped at the edges.

^^I've seen two movies and never touched the books.

Not a big fan of HP, but the MOC looks good so far.

Ok, got a PAB this morning, and I've already used most of the pieces !

Ok, I've finished most of it now, I just need to make one more PAB.


This'll be the last pic of the actual MOC before it's finished.

My final PAB was dispatched yesterday, with enough parts to finish this MOC. The last picture on this thread will be of it when it arrives.

This arrived this morning, expect the finished Quidditch Stadium later today!
