Wip Border Check

Post by fithboy on Mon Sep 12, 2011 3:13 pm

At the Lego Shop Liverpool I got my first big grey baseboard, so naturally I started building on it immediately Razz !
I'm not sure if I'll ever finish this MOC or not, but here it is so far.

It's the border between two parts of the planet, the Separatist half and the Republic half. The fighting is at a lull at the moment, so people are going back and forth between the two halves, visiting family and stuff.
I was thinking of making a mountain and river on the side that doesn't have the building in and more buildings on the side that does.

More descriptions and stuff in the Flickr set.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Just remember the "Quality vs. Quantity" rule. This is a pretty large sized creation. Make sure you can justify the size with the same amount of quality! Wink Lego

Update!

I've made a river and a waterfall. I don't really like the rock which the water comes off, but it'll do.

The river is a good addition. I'd recommend not using inverted slopes on rock formations that size though Wink.
