Should I take apart my Star Destroyer?
Star Destroyer?
I'm holding a vote weather or not i should rip apart my star destroyer for pieces for custom creations or keep it although it has many missing pieces. Please vote in your honest opinion. Thanks

Hmm...It all depends, do you have any idea on a custom you'd like to build? If so, go for it.

Ask Rook or ABL to set a poll up for you.
We can't tell you what to build, that's up to you, although I ripped my SD shortly after I got it for all those gray pieces.

Personally I'd keep it, true it IS a great source of grey, but it's a cool set in my opinion!
(I'm still trying to get some of my own...

The one ABL is looking for is the minifig-scale one that was discontinued after 2 YEARS IN SERVICE!
ABL, you of all people, how could you possibly miss that?!?!?

Impossible; my dad found one several weeks ago and believe it or not it had the new stormtrooper helmets like from the Dropship.

Re: Star Destroyer?
As long as you have the instructions (or can download them) you can always rebuild them/it later. Around 2001, I ripped apart all my Star Wars sets. (Not as many as now.
) For a move, put all the pieces in 2 big boxes mixed with all my old Lego. Then when I got to my new apartment I put together all my Star Wars sets again. Of course they no longer had the "actual" pieces that came for each set, but I'm not Fascist Purist.

I never mix SW with 'standard' LEGO> But once my dad helped metaking apart some Lego, including 2 small SW sets (the early BP's) and he put them in the LEGO box, he didn't know but I didn't like it.
