LEGO LEGO Logo

Yeah, so I really wanted to make a LEGO mosaic, and what better to make than the LEGO logo?

I finished everything red, and the L and E. I'm running low on pieces, so I may not finish too soon. I'll try to finish by the end of the year. i'm hoping before Christmas though.

You've really captured the design well - down to the little bits of grey. Can't wait to see it completed!

Man, why hasn't anyone else thought of that! I mean the Lego logo made from Legos. Great idea, can't wait to see it complete.

Very nice! It looks very accurate too, so far it looks exactly like the actual one.

I think it looks more like Lego with the studs facing towards us. The one in the pic has done it differently. Great intiative!

The middle hole in the "O" looks a bit thin IMO...

Yeah, I agree too. The space in the O is just too thin... It's as thin as the spacing between the letters! Otherwise, you seem to be progressing smoothly...

It's almost done, just a little bit of the border, and then 3 bricks in the letters.

Sorry for double post, but I have received information that one of my friends will supply me with the pieces I need!

I also have a suggestion, you could put some smooth tiles over all the bricks for a finishing touch.

No, don't have enough tiles for that.

So I will be using $5-$10 to get the several 1x1light gray bricks that I need from BrickLink soon. The reason there has been no update is because there has been little progress, as the only progress I can make is when friends donate gray bricks to me, and I have few friends that I see often that like LEGO's and are willing to give them to me. I did in fact finish the border though (Thanks to one of my friends) and I finished the L and the E. If you want, I'll post a picture, though.
