Lazer Needs Your Help (WIP Creation)

So I have been working on these legs for a bot I have in mind. Here are my ideas.

2 legs (shown below), no arms (you will get the idea), head with a long gun on it and or some guns on the sides of it.



So my problem is the following:

-What should I use to connect the legs to the body?
-Do you think I need another piece on the top part of the legs before connecting them?

They look very good so far, but reminiscent of Tac's walker for some reason. If you add another piece on top of the legs, it will add to the bulkiness which is good. If you use lightsaber blades or some kind of gun or tube that will fit in there, it wil give it that prototype/unfinished look which is good only if that's the look you are going for.

To connect the legs to the body, you could use the Exo-Force suits type of connection. It's kind of ugly, but really stable. So if you could use that and then cover it, it might look really nice and have a strong frame.

Ugh, no. Exo Force connections are unoriginal if you ask me, and they look pretty ugly too. However, I'm not sure if I can help you Lazer; I only focus on small mechs.

Good luck with your project though, it looks pretty spiffy at the moment.
