For all you WWIITards out there, I present to you

The Mitsubishi A6M-F1 Fighter!

I'm especially proud of the Landing gear.

Based off of this.

Sorry 'bout the terrible pics.

The wings need to be wider, as in the picture it is wider than the tail flaps, and the front is sticking out too much. Nice SNOT though. Wink Smile

Looks nice for a mini-scale version! Also, the back of the tail isn't red, so you might want to edit that.

The nose needs to be a bit shoter and wider, but I really like the Snot you did here. Smile

Very nice work. It looks like a WWII Airplane that was used during the war.

Just to point this out, you do know that the reference picture is a Japanese Val dive bomber, not a Mitsubishi A6M "Zero" fighter?
This is a "Zero".

I realize that. I know about most of the WWII planes, but this is a Fighter, not a bomber. Because the "Zero" looks similar to what I made for the MOC, It is therefore a "Zero" IMO. What at first I wanted to make was a Val Dive bomber though. Wink Also, updated version is now up.

It dosen't look like the pictures, but it does look cool. Razz
I like how you did the engines by the propeller.

Thanks! Wow this thing looks

I made a new version featuring a rounded engine area, even better landing gear, and other stuff that will be featured in my next MOC.

I'm all confused, do you want it to look like the val or the zero? (judging by the gear it looks like a val) Quite a bit of work is still needed for accuracy, but speaking from experience building Japanese planes can be a pain with all the curves. Technique wise, I do like what you did with the spots on the wings and the way you attached the guns.

It's pretty good IMO, what I noticed is it's very angular, VS the real one is almost no sharp corners.

I would lower the cockpit one stud. It looks awkward as high as it is.

It is pretty good, but the cockpit isn't really the best color (or colour), make it trans.
