Yeah so quite regularly I have ideas that just don't work. This is my first attempt of doing Gemini in my Zodiac project but it was just crap. This is good reminder for all of you out there that have built something for a CABG Guild Application and gotten negative feedback about it. It might look great in your mind but once it you put it into brick form it might just look like this.

As I am an inexperienced builder, I would say why did you scrap the idea? But looking at it from another point of view I can see why.

I voted no, not guild worthy.

It's guild worthy. Just not Rook worthy.

I can see the body repurposed into a hardsuit.

It looks ok, besides the idea of the minifigures. It looks a lot better then some of mine.

It's not too bad, it could look really good though if you change some of the stuff a bit.

Were you attempting a X-wing style ship? IMO it should look more like two horseshoes touching at the curve. I can see why that could be hard, but, I think, it would look good.

Great ship!! Looks Rook worthy to me!! IDK about the figures though. Looks like they are taking a trip to the swimming pool.

I'm not sure about your call on this one Dr. I quite like it. It's got some nice angles and colors. I think the bit of blockiness gives it a cool feel. Oh well, thanks for sharing regardless.

Maybe if you had some concept art we could understand what it was supposed to look like.

I, honestly, love the sharp angles this thing gives off, but do see why you canned it.

Libra WIP

Well I rarely do WIP threads but I've kind hit a roadblock, so I posted what I have.



The "Scales" lock together and I can post a video of that later maybe. But the main issue was the black. Libra being "Justice" or the "Scales" just didn't seem right as black and not having the pieces I wanted has lead me to a different design that I sketched out this morning.

Interesting, you have good skills with constructing vehicles and ships!

Looks a bit like a Samson. Nice job so far!

I'm guessing that you're trying to make it fly?

No the battery packs are way too heavy. But it would be cool if Lego would do some actual flight sets.
