Futuristic Helicopter WIP

It started out as a Post APOC helicopter, but like most of my creations it has turned sci-fi.

Anyways, It's going to look similar to a Halo hornet. I'll have the same kind of engines/propellers, but it will be bigger and longer.

Anyways, here's a picture of the head a few days ago, I'll get some new pics of the finished head. I was also just going to make the crashed head, but that Moc failed.



Tips would be gratefully accepted. What do you guys think of the Cockpit idea?
And what color scheme should it be? I was thinking maybe dark bley and dark green like my other Sci-Fi Fighter

I like the cockpit. Dark bley with dark green highlights would be a great color, but don't overdue it. I feel there was too much dark green in your fighter that you used as an example.

I'm warning you now, helicopter are extremely difficult to build. Be prepared to rebuild it if you smash it against a wall.

Nice design and I would, if I were you, put some accents of colour in the head or some big frakkin' cannons.

It can fit four people plus the pilot... Maybe I'll make a place in the back for a gunner or something.



What do you guys think?

I like it, the dark green is very nice, but it needs to:
-Hold more men
-Have one more pilot (your choice)
-Have some big guns.

I gotta say when I say the first pic I was like, "Epic!" But then I say the others and it was a let down. I know your going for a helicopter but you might want to consider something else. Again, I love the cockpit but everything else is less than 'meh', sorry.

Okay, so I made a lot of progress today. I shortened the back, added a machine gunner, made the whole thing five studs shorter and made the other engine.

The cockpit is good, but the body is meh. It is too narrow, bulk it up a bit. Make the droid arms match in color. Add some more hints of green for color. Hope I help.

It looks fine. But the strip that holds the wings to the body needs to be less blocky. Cockpit is good, but try working on the middle section to make it more smooth .

It looks like you got the design from Avatar. Nice work though, keep it up. I really can't wait to see the finished product.

I like this, but why is it so long for those tiny engine/fans? Are you going to add more, or are you going to make giant engines? Either way, try to make it look realistic. Even if the engines were bigger than they should be, it would be fine. Good luck on this.

Good thing You've fixed the length. What also might improve this is putting the cockpit at a downward angle.

The cockpit and engines are phenominal! The only thing about the body I would change would be to make it taller. If you pull this off, it could get frontpaged! :grin:

I really love the cockpit, if it opens up too, then it would be perfect! Do you mind posting instructions?

BTW, perhaps it would turn out like a Halo UH-144 Falcon.

If this is referring to the green, I did read your first post, but I said add some more as you go on. I also just saw the part that said some of the droid arms are placeholders.
