Suggestions for mini overmind

I am currently working on something that requires a mini overmind (About 6x6 or 8x8 studs.) I know I don't have to tell at least three of you what this is, but for the rest, here's a refrence pic.

I have no idea what that is, but if you have the lobster Aqua Raiders set, then use him for the peices.

Good idea. I'd advise using lots of wiry and long pieces. I'll see if I can find a reference pic.

I guess use parts of plants as well - things like jungle creeper pieces (if they make them in LEGO) would do the trick.

Purple bricks and leaves and make stings of 1x1x1 round for tentacles . Maybe? Hard to tell when we can't see the space you working with.
