Hoth Generator Attack

Power Generator Attack

Before General Veers destroyed the Rebels' main power generator, he sent a recon force to scout ahead and take out the rebels guarding the generator.

All pics are links to their hi-res versions:

Man down! The brave rebels are standing their ground by the power generator, but one after the other gets hit.

While his comrades cover him, a pilot undertakes some repairs on the generator.

An imperial officer tries to attack the rebel pilot repairing the generator, but instead, he slips on frozen puddle.

A closer view at the inside of the trench:

Some more straight-on views:

Wow! This has to be one of the best mocs I've seen from a new guy for ages! I like the landscaping, the dead rebel in the snow, the slipping Officer... all of it!

The generators are beasty looking, and I love the general slipping on the ice. I would have to say with this MOC, you might want to add some laser bolts or an explosion, just to add some color to it. Oh, and, MOAR REBELS!!!

Nice work! How did you get the rebel troopers arms straight?(the dead one) Like 667thLegion said though it could do with some laser bolts.

The generators look pretty sweet but I must say that the snow needs a lot of work.

Thanks for the kind comments, everyone! Smile

Yeah, I was thinking about doing that, but I ran out of time. I made this for the ESB contest, you see.

I stuck a pneumatic tube through an old Indian torso. I thought this was an old technique?

Darth Yoda wrote:I must say that the snow needs a lot of work.

Care to elaborate on that? I know it's a bit flat, but again, I had little time.

That generator is just awesome! The snow could use some more plates/slopes for layering, mainly near the taun-Taun. I am really glad someone decided to take on the genarator, very well done! Smile Thumbs up

Yes, this is what I meant about the snow. It's good to have next to no studs for the regular snow. The long slopes by the imperials is a good start. Wink

^Agreed, it is too flat, it needs slopes.

^As others have said, the snow needs more slopes and layering.

Anyways, I love this MOC! The generator is awesome and I like that you messed around with the official turret.

Overall, great job! Smile
