Rook I think you're missing the point. Impulses are small sets. You've used big pieces which will never be in an impulse. Therefore I think these are more $5-7ish sets like City cars and stuff.

Re: Rook's Guild Build: Impulse Entries
You know me DP. I can't build anything small. It's not in my nature!
Yeah no seriously though I did think about it and I decided I'd push the "traditional" size envelope a little. I'll probably lose some votes but it's fun.
You got to admit though the travelling egg case is genius.

Hey the rules say 27 pieces... nothing about size limit:P.
I'd buy the landing pad for sure... If just for the pieces. But I love the landing pad concept... now we need a few ship impulse sets and you can buy it in pairs.
Oh, and where the heck do you get those egg pieces? You have some interesting sets
!
I like the concept but... not feeling the eggs:P.

On the contrary, I really like the egg idea, I think it is very clever.

Oh! I like the idea... it just doesn't make me go out and buy it. Its missing that rook umph factor:P.
Though I like the idea of a portable container that allows you to play with it on the road.

Re: Rook's Guild Build: Impulse Entries
These are great, I don't care if they're too big for impulse sets, there are 27 pieces and that's good enough.

Re: Rook's Guild Build: Impulse Entries
The landing pad is okay, but it would be better if you also had another impulse ship to go with it.

But the landing pad?

Re: Rook's Guild Build: Impulse Entries
I like the egg idea, never seen the peice before, suprising seeing as I bought so many Mars Mission sets. But I would totally buy the landing pad, it's perfect size for a Stormtrooper Battlepack. Plus I'm trying to build a hangar for my upgraded gunship.

The egg is a really smart idea. Landing pad is a good idea as well. Good luck.
Re: Rook's Guild Build: Impulse Entries
Rook, I was wondering were can I find the things that are holding up the landing pad?

Try Bricklink. I'm not sure what sets they came in, sorry.
