Re: What are your ideas for future/long term projects?
So while I was building my CABGOII Phase 4 entry I used a lot of motorized pieces. I then realized I needed a few more motorized parts. I had:
1 lg motor
2 sm/md motors
2 battery packs
2 controllers
1 remote sensor
So I picked up:
1 lg motor
1 remote sensor
So I now have 2 complete sets for remote control functions. And thus the motorized play sets have begun. I’m currently working on Libra for my Zodiac Project. And yes it’s motorized!

Awesome, Rook! I can't wait to see either of those!
My first SNOT attempt
well.. I made my first attempt on SNOT earlier but my camera ran out of batteries
and I have been working a diorama still on the planning stage and probably on Friday night I'll work on it. Here's one of my MOCs http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/211603 .

So I had heard gearing and torque where an issue with Lego and never really believed it until last night. I’ve been playing around with a very unique ground vehicle that is going to be a part of the Libra fighter but as I was showing it off to my “lawn boy”, crunch crunch went the vehicle. Assuming a piece had come loose I opened up the shell of the vehicle to find one of the gears had broken into 3 pieces! So I’ll fix it and just be gentle when I shoot the video portion of that MOC.
PS: Sorry I'll take a picture later today to show the shredded gear.

Yeahh, simply can't put too much pressure on smaller gears, and have to make absolutely sure that it's impossible for the motor to break way.
Re: What are your ideas for future/long term projects?
Posted earlier today:
Actually it was impossible for the motor to break free which caused the gear to break instead. Previously the motor would pop out slightly. I locked it in place and was playing around with weight distribution when the gear broke. Having a "breaker" system might be a good idea. But I think putting the smaller motor in will do the trick too. Not enough toque to crush the gear.

Well, I'm starting to make some bricklink orders for one final epic creation to go out with a bang. It will be at least twice the size of my omaha diorama and will have many more features and new cool things. It might not be the end, but it will for the while at the end of this summer...
I don't really know, I'm still thinking about it...

@Rook: Weren't there once these gears which spun when there was too much pressure them?
Btw, my Snow Ghillie for the Shooter Vig is done.

Darth Yoda, that sounds neat, but are you leaving CABG or are you just saying that for CABGOII?

Re: What are your ideas for future/long term projects?
I want to make some kind of carrier/dropship for my legion that can carry at least 6 troops and have lots of room for maybe a holotable, weapons rack, etc. I've never built any vehicle that is spaceflight capable (meaning closed-cockpit) of any size except for one-seaters.

Re: What are your ideas for future/long term projects?
I'm developing a stop-animation series for my Youtube account that brings characters from different fictional universes together, including Sonic the Hedgehog (I have made 6 figures already...), Metal Gear, Mario, and, of course, Star Wars...

I am creating a brand new series and the first movie is hopefully going to be quite long.

Hey, Darman, Tac, 1 million watts of power, eclipsegrafx, and Darth Dan, pm me what weapons you want from brickarms for my Area 51 movie. The only weapons I will not allow are WW2 weapons, so make your pick, and remeber, PM me, do not post it here.

What?! Please don't tell me you are giving up Lego?

Well, I'm thinking about getting into waterslide decals, but I am going to start off simple with just torso decals from fine clonier, and then I will move onto the harer things, such as legs, arms, and heads/helmets

I'm thinking about getting into waterslides too!
I want to build some ship, something that's really sturdy, swooshable, big, looks cool, playable, and has a cool color scheme. Kinda like the Bounty Hunters' ships from Tac, Lazer, etc...

Re: What are your ideas for future/long term projects?
I'm making a clone commando squad, and I already have three done, but I need names for them.
Description:
The sergeant is red with some black detailing.
The medic is purple with a hint of yellow on one side of the chest plate.
The sniper is blue.
The demolitions man is not finished, but he is going to be lime green.
Now these are all down with sharpie, and I made them so they look like they have been through many battles, so the colors may looked faded in a way.
Ideas for names welcome!

Re: What are your ideas for future/long term projects?
I'm starting to make a lego show called The BBD (I know, its stupid) that includes Lego Star Wars, Lego City, Lego Indiana Jones, and Lego Knights. Its suppose to air in 2012. Following that, I am making the Lego Star Wars Series, the 1st Legion, and then make Star Wars The Clone Wars Movie.
Then, after all this is done, it leads up to the Lego Star Wars Saga Movies Episodes 1 - 6. That will probably take us about 3 to 5 years of making.

Re: What are your ideas for future/long term projects?
The commandos are done, but I am waiting for my DC- 17's from the Little Arms Shop. Another thing I have done is modified my old ARC- 170 set with some custom sharpie pilots, nose art, and diffrent weapons.
Edit: I just got my DC-17's from the little arms shop today.
Update: I have just finsihed my first stop motion, which is a minifigure walking across a baseplate, its pretty basic, but it is a start.

Nearly finished senior clone commander Scar. Needs some decals.
My favourite part is half of the mexican poncho from the lego minifigure figures. Made decal template.
