Nice decal elite! I have a decal myself. It's a 327th star corps Phase 1 trooper:

Tell me what you think. Base by Vidgamer. Also, please note that this is my first successful attempt at GIMP. I feel pretty proud of it.

Keep the armor strap the same color but outline it in black so it stands out from the armor plate color.

I have yet another decal: a phase 1 212th trooper. Here it is:

Template is by SRG Denal;(or is it CK? I looked at the index of clone templates and this template was under SRG denal's name.... Maybe it's just a different name). I found his a little bit easier to work with than Vids.

Also, Elite, It looks like you just filled in the left breastplate with the paintbucket. What program did you use?

That's pretty good, but why does it look sort of brownish-yellow instead of orange? Shocked

Nice job Dutch! One question, How do you make that decal so clear? I use GIMP to make decals off of templates but there never clear; there allways pixelated and such.

I use a free program called Inkscape.

But to get results like mine you need to design your own template in Inkscape.

I have a decal to post. It's based off of Chaotic Good's template and SRG. Denal's template. Basically its their clone templates fused but I edited the arms a bit. [img][/img]

So basicly, what you're saying, is that you combined two templates that other people made?

What was the point of that?

To make a template he liked. Honestly, I don't see much wrong with that, seeing he mentioned who made them and what he did.

Yeah, I know, but I don't see much of a difference between this modified one and Denal's.

Oh snap, that's my very first template. :O Razz It's just a few different things copied and pasted though. Maybe if he put something on the template it would be better, but other than that, I don't see the point of posting it.
