Yes there are. I will post them later. I have the full head done, I just need to buy the correct colored pieces, the body is 15% done so I need to work on that alot.

First thing I noticed was the 'crack' between the slope pieces on the underside of the wing. This needs to be fixed. Traditionally I also though when viewing other builders mocs, that these parts would interlock perfectly. Through playing around, I learned that this is not the case, and it frustrated me beyond belief. Just last week though, I finally discovered the answer- took long enough. Embarassed Check out LDM's containers here. In order to get the tighter seamless look, you're going to have to use http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=42446 or http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=44728 . For all I know you have to use both above and below wherever the slopes are in order to get back to the regular brick connection.

The front area and cockpit area is good but you have to make the windshield bigger. Wink Smile

Windshield can't really be made bigger due to area constrictions, besides this is a "armored cockpit" variant. Wink

Revo- Hmm I was originally going to leave the seam to show off the pattern that is that area. But after looking at what you gave me I think that by making it seamless it looks way better. And it makes it flow more smoothly, if you look at a shot of this in halo the Pelican has curves that smoothly flow into one another and make it look very nice. Any tips on how to fix the blockiness of the area right above that trans orange cheese on the side? The orange cheese is supposed to mimic a light on the body of the Pelican. There will also be other orange cheese lights on the body/wings to mimic lights.

How do I put this nicely?

It looks like one of my creations.
And I don't mean my ships, I mean my rocky landscapes. Wink

A ship has to be smooth, and if not smooth, greebly.

Everythign else looks good, so that's all you really need to fix.

I honestly have no way to make it that smooth. I'm trying to make it as smooth as possible but in the end it won't be that smooth. So you will have to live with it being like on of your rocky landscapes. Razz But I will attempt to make it as smooth as possible to please you.

The front is what you should be looking for.

When you put in different shape slopes and in different places it makes it look less uniform, and smooth.

Now that you say it I can see what you mean. I'll try to find away to use those curved sloped pieces. The ones that are 3 x 2/3s. I might just be able to make this work!

Dude your making this harder than it needs to be, make the basic shape, skeleton it, plate it, then smooth it out with some bigger peices, then work on the detailing, the pelican is a very very smooth ship with some detail, yours is way too bumpy, incomplete, and multicolored.

Yea, and if you'd have read all of my posts you would see that I am redoing parts of it and that it is multicolored until I have the design down 100% as I don't want to order pieces if I don't know what exactly I need.

A quick little verbal update for you people:

I found a good way to make the whole front of the ship less blocky and will allow me to possibly have a complete "working" cockpit. And I also found a better way to get the detail i wanted on the vent intake on the wing. It looks way better in my mind I just gotta experiment with it now. Oh and one last tidbit of info. After looking at pictures online I have decided the whole pelican is 4 studs too narrow. So I'll be adding two studs to each side of the cockpit. Making it a "working" cockpit.

I'll post pictures when I am ready. Also if anyone has any good seat techniques that look like the picture below post a picture of them for me, or link me to them.

Hmm if you have the time do it, if not don't worry...

Well I royally screwed up my whole cockpit when I went to make it bigger, after which I realized it doesn't need to be bigger... So I pretty much have to restart from the ground up.

Wow this thing looks'oh: It's a WIP, he'll change it eventually. As for the pelican, it flows relativly well, and the missle racks look nice, I don't play halo so I can't tell you if there is a detail you missed. Good luck!
