Marine/Jedi Pauldron

Post by clonefactory on Sat Jan 02, 2010 1:40 pm

You may have seen this already but I am ading a twist to it.

Ever since Hazel came out with an ultra detailed Marine pack I have been working on Marine Pauldron to house the pack

http://www.flickr.com/photos/hazel-fantasy/4072262104/in/set-72157605564162648/

Main problems have been allowing enough space for the helmet to sit properly while keeping the pack off of the kama (in the back). Final production would probably be a dark grey in both.

Update (1/2/2010):

I decided this may also make avery good Jedi pauldron if the right details are added. We will see how it works out. Any suggestions would help.

Bleh, not a big fan of Hazel's troop. It doesn't really look like a Clone Trooper. :/

Hazel is way too detailed to even be considered LEGO.

Anyways, I feel that this will work out, its rough so far but the ammo belt is cool.

Hazel's is really good, but it looks sort of like what would be on an action figure.

Anyways, as for the pauldron, the pauldron itself looks pretty good, although the belt hanging from it is a bit too big. Wink

I agree, might as well put a Hasbro helmet on a LEGO fig and you'll get the same effect.

How do you make those helmets. Do you make molds and melt plastic? Camo

Close. A Master helmet is made using a Lego helmet and sculpting clay. From that a master mold is made, then resin is used to cast the new helmets.

GOOD GOD,

The first link is of products made by HAZEL at Amazing Armory. I highlighted this link to show the Marine Backpack

The second link is of an item I am working on. Does anyone read entire posts anymore.
