Mecha WIP Updated 20/2!

After seeing Avatar I really wanted to make a hardsuit, it probaly won't be the actual one in Avatar, but it will be similar. I spent about 2 hours this morning mucking around with some pieces until I made a arm I liked. It's fully poseable which was what I was mainly after.

UPDATE 1: Arm And Shoulder!





After toying arond with some connections I finally found one strong enough.

Oh, the editing's just so you can see the angle it will be on the body.

I tried to make a second arm, but unfortunately I couldn't find enough robot arms/knives to finish the hand. Looks like I need to make a bL order!

Oh, ignore the stand, I just wanted to see how many studs apart they would be.

My BL order came so I decided to make it a bit more clolourful.

I also attempted to make a hardsuit after seeing avatar but it ended up more of a walker.
The arms are very lovely for a prototype.

Thanks! Unfortuantely I had to scrap both my walkers and my STAT to make it.

Needs more color.
Looks pretty good. I like the use of the taun taun reigns as tubings and the rest of the elbow joint area is excellent.

I think he can't.

This hardsuit is going to be mostly dark gray as the one in Avatar was.

There will be light gray here and there.

Wow that looks great so far, and the greebles look amazing! Maybe make red or yellow the highlight color.

My inspirations are Legolovermans hardsuit and the one from Avatar, both are fully gray.
