Echo squad

Post by wrecks on Fri Dec 18, 2009 6:40 pm

Echo squad was the 112th legion's four republic commandos, who would preform missions too difficult or skilled for normal troops.

Solid: The explosives expert of Echo squad, Solid is always looking for an excuse to blow somthing up. He is constantly reminded by the others to be more mindful when on a mission. He carries a PLX-1 portable missle launcher and a wide variety of explosives

Rot: The squad's scout and sniper, he is always paying close attention and never off task. His supplies include a rottary powerd sniper riffle, targetting goggles and mines.

Apollo: The leader of Echo squad, he is no-nonsense and serious about his work. He carries a moddified DC-15A Blaster rifle, along with a small amount of tools. His helmet is moddified with an improved re-breather and fixed range finder/macro-binoculars.

Drift: Drift is usally the first into battle, and does most of the fighting on missions. He has a J-class jetpack, two command pistols and flame thrower.

Not bad. The back storys are great, but there are some what the same as the other squads. Wink I like Apollo the best. Were did he's left leg come from?

Which parts are the same? I'll try and fix those. And the legs came off of the main evil guy from the Agents sets, I forget his name though.

Their okay, although I don't really like the names much or the helmets. The combination of the bodies and legs are good though. Wink Smile

They're both squads of Republic Commandos. Of course there's going to be a leader and explosives expert.

His name is Dr. Inferno. I have the same legs.

Nice figs! Well, for purist anyway. Also! Nice Greek mytholigy reference! Where did you get the legs for Drift?

Apollo. That's the only one that was vaguely linked to mythology,

Where did you get those rubber-bands? I really could use some of those. Otherwise the figures are really nice. I like drift just because of his design.

All the coloured elastic bands I have came in the old round Bionicles.

They don't look like commandos. Try to look at this for inspiration:

Yeah, they should have the clone helmet without the fin, but as I'm purist I couldn't do that. Then I figured since the helmets were going to be wrong anyway, I might as well mix it up Razz

It seems weird to have Rot's straps/rubber bands go below his belt. It would be pretty awkward to run into battle in that type of position. Razz

Although, they're all pretty good for purist. I really enjoy Drift's leg design when it is mixed with his torso. Nice job.
