Impact bigger version

Post by Knight on Sat Dec 12, 2009 9:06 pm

Here is my impact moc, but much bigger. Some small group has taken over a small republic outpost. This small outpost is a inportant outpost because it has republic data. So it was time to drop. A small squad of 80th legion troops led by commander shade, and jedi master Zar Vin. In this moc they use drop pods to get there fast, and without losing a lot of troops.

An overveiw.

Part of a much larger outpost.

A jet reble with a prototype chainsaw jet pack.

Commander shades crashed drop pod.

A drop pod about to make impact.

Another veiw.

A side shot of the entrance.

C@C are welcome.

Only the building is pretty good. Everything else is okay as it is just a combination of everything you made previously plus a layered baseplate. Wink

That drop pod is about to make a huge crater and kill everyone....

No, seriously. The acceleration in the atmosphere would speed it up that fast. I would like to say, that due to it's aerodynamical design, it'll leave a much bigger impact than that of a meteor of the same size after going through the atmosphere.

Who said it was going through the atmosphere. I should have said it is only falling from 1500 feet.

@ troopa I said in the first impact moc it was a small part of something larger. I only added the hover craft to fill in the space, and for more action.

Detail the ground a bit more, right now, it's only plates stacked onto each other with 1x2 tiles scattered around.

lt lacks a lot of detail on the ground. Don't just throw something in a MOC to fill up space. Make every piece count!

Why does that dropod look too small to fight a clone and his blaster?

i THINK IT LOOKS JUST ENOUGH ROOM TO FIT ONE CLONE WITH A SET-UP WEAPON,OH AND THE OTHER GUY'S POD THERE SHOULD BE PIECES OF THE DROP POD EVERY WHERE CAUSE YOU HAVE JUST PUT THE BASE OF THE POD

You should come up with a name other than drop pod, because i keep thinkig ODSTs, and make them bigger, and more detailed, with maybe spare waepon and medpac.

It looks like something I would have made if I had enough pieces to, and that doesn't say much. Laughing

The whole point of greebleing is to build wreckage, using SNOT. Don't just greeble random pieces horizontal like you did in the hole of the tower, use some SNOT at least.

There's my 2 cents. Hmm...

It's an okay Moc. It adds more to your smaller version and makes it better. Might be off topic, but why did you change your username to knight.

I didn't want to just be another commando, commander, or trooper. I really don't know why I picked it though.
As for the moc, it has been scrapped for almost a month now. Razz

So how do the other clones and jedi/s go back to base? Walk there or do they call a gunship?

If neither I am now lost... Hmm...

Interesting. However, the whole 'drop pod' idea is very vague. There isn't enough detail on it, since you did put a certain amount of emphasis on the 'drop pod'. Also, the drop pod is like the ODST's idea, so its not exactly original. Try to put more detail on the base plate too. Yellow
