The Four stages of the Wehrmacht

Yes yes, I know, there's more than just four stages, but I was bored today and built a little something. It's basically 4 8x8 vignettes put together into one 16x16. I've got the Afrika Korps, SS Elite, Normal Wehrmacht and Fallschirmjäger, In afrika, defending a bunker, fighting on the streets and running the the jungles on Malta.

The AfrikaKorps Vig:


Figures Included: 2x Afrika Korps Members
Short Description: A small desert Outpost in northern africa, being watched by two members of the Afrika Korps.

The Fallschirmjäger Vig:


Figures Included: 1x Fallschirmjäger
Short Description: A Lone Fallschirmjäger, just after having being dropped into the thick jungle, is running into battle.
(Also, hopefully my Malta Project will look like this, just on a 24x24 base and more detail)

The SS Elite Vig:


Figures Included: 1x SS Elite
Short description: A SS Elite patrolling the Führer's bunker.
(I know, I know, the plainest of them all. I couldn't find much inspiration for this one.)

And the Standard Wehrmacht Vig:


Figures Included: 1x Wehrmacht Infantry, 1x American Rifle Man
Short Description: Urban Warfare, two soldiers of opposing armies get into a fist fight after losing their weapons.

I definitely love that Fallschirmjager (yeah yeah my keyboard doesn't have those delightful ..s, sue me) figure; it's pleasantly purist, and I'd definitely try and make one of those. The others are nice; the fisticuffs is nice.

It's Bantha's design, not his.

The word you're looking for is an umblaut.

I like how all four are combined, because on their own they aren't too special, but together it makes a pretty neat looking diorama.

Also, Ham, I believe you mean Umlaut, not Umblaut.

Yeah, I wasn't quite sure with the spelling.

I quite like this type of idea. The vigs are really nice, and have some detail. (except maybe the one with the bunker). But anyways, everything else looks good especially the tree!
