Coruscant Firespeeder

Well, it's been a long time since I've made a MOC but recently, I've felt an urge to. So, I've decided I'm going to try making this:



However, since I've never actually attempted anything like this before, I'm not sure how it will turn out. But my question for now is: how long should it be? Can you just give me an estimate please? It would be much appreciated.

Man I've always wanted to build this, but I just didn't have the type of pieces since I never got the old Republic Gunship. Goodluck, I can't wait to see it!

I would build it about 20x70. If you look at the cock pit it should have 2 minifigs. I would use the 6 wide windshields. You’ll want about 6-8 studs wide on each side of that. The length is about 4x the width plus the 4 sprayers. I planning on doing this ship too this year it'll be nice to see what someone else can do with this ship. Good luck.

I want to build one of these ships as well someday, it'll be interesting to see how yours turns out!

In my last post I forgot to mention that I would like to see Rook try and tackle this ship as well.

We could have a reguler fire brigade with everyone who wants to make this ship.

Looks like a cool ship. I saw the picture as if the ship was already built out of lego. Wierd, right? Looks like it can come out REALLy well if you do it correctly.

I'm probably going to have to wait until I get the new gunship. It was until after I posted this that I noticed that the wings were not in fact grey. Still, I'm going to continue planning it anyways.

I do that too, I'm trying to build DP's gunship, but I don't have enough white, or money for more pieces.

Good point Bly. I think after the Republic Gunship comes out, many of us will be snatching it quickly, no? So it is an excellent idea to have a Fire-Ship contest then... but no Rooks allowed!

And tough, you usually don't here about Emergency or Fire ships, which is amazing considering how important they are.

TX-130 Hovertank Contest, it HAS TO LOOK LIKE IT! I DON'T CARE IF YOU CANT PERFECT IT!

I've actually been thinking about making a Micro-Scale Ship Contest. The Goal would be to create either a Transport, a Cruiser, or anything else large. Any input?

I think we need a thread and a time line maybe. Lots of great ideas. I think it would be cool to have at least one contest per month. What do you guys think? I'll start working on it right away. Can always delete it if everyone thinks it's a bad idea.

I think that you could make a cool miniship out of it. I may try my hand at it. If I have any good results, i'll post them!
