Endor diorama

Post by DarthPineapple on Mon Nov 30, 2009 1:15 pm

An Endor diorama I've been working on... progress is slow though, as I still need lots and lots of the tree pieces. This one tree used almost all my leaves.

The final diorama will have about 8-10 of the trees and other foliage, as well as a custom AT-ST. Behind the tree there is one of those rolling tree trunk traps as the Ewoks used in Episode VI. It was a pain to tie the trunks to it.

It looks pretty good so far. The one thing I would do is make the leaves start a little higher off the ground then they are now. I like the string between the two trees, detail like that makes a MOC awesome. Good luck, I can't wait to see this finished.

I can't wait to see how this turns out DP. I really like how you did the rope, and the trees look good.

It looks pretty good, but don't you think you should put some more brown on the floor? Wink

Nope not going to put any brown on the floor. It's pretty nice as it is, plus there aren't that many different dark green plates to fill it up.

It is a very lovely scene but shouldn't the speeders be heading towards the base? Wink
