A New Hope For Revolution

A New Hope For Revolution

Okay, not my best work by far, but it's the idea I'm proud of. Apparently there's some historical inaccuracies, but this project has dragged on for too long for me to feel like fixing them. And I'm sorry that it ends so abruptly, but the sequel would entail massive green-screening, which I'm not capable of.

YouTube Description:

Ah, finally! It's nice to get a new film up once in a while.

So here we have a film that I wanted to do for my AP US History class. I originally had the idea for it in September, when we were talking about the American Revolution. It was supposed to be a quick film, but it dragged on because of massive loads of homework and general procrastination, which I seem to be an expert at. Sorry.

I referenced two movies in this (Well... One is basically an allegory). Can you guess which? Also, I ran parallels between the redcoats and another military group, in three instances. I challenge you to find all of them!

This was also an oppotunity for me to try out some new techniques that I either wasn't good at or had never tried before. Ultimately, I chalk this up as another film I used to broaden my horizons.

Probably most importantly, this was rushed. Yes, that's right: rushed. I would've loved to have spent more time on it, and added more sounds, dialogue, and plot, but I just don't have the time. My deadline is next this week, and I'll be too busy to work on it then. I hope it's still entertaining for you guys!

Enjoy!

For the love of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, get a real Brit to do a British accent when you need one.

What Jinja said, but that was the most hilarious crossover I've seen since I've been here.

It wasn't meant to take as long as it did, and I had no interest in finding more actors. Sorry 'bout that.

@CommanderKill: Thanks!

The last bit reminds me of Star Wars Ep. 4...
Well it's a good little animation.

A very good film with obvious refrences! Great frame rate.

Actually, if you rewatch the cantina scene from ANH, I tried to follow it pretty well.

Thanks everyone!

Very nice! I enjoy your video very much! A bit flashy at some points, but otherwise nicely done. Wink
