Cloth Accesories..

This is partly what I've been occupied with instead of a lot of my customizing for the last few weeks - experimenting with cloth. I'm still sorting out errors on other designs, but here's the one I think has gone perfectly: my sand-trooper pauldron.



I designed it, and printed it on Printable fabric. It's softer than it looks, and it's not like MMCB's fabric or LEGO's, but it suffices. I'm hoping some sealant will solve that problem - that's part of the experimenting, you see.

At any rate, how does it look? I'm quite pleased with it, myself.

I would shorten it to the arm bend, other than that perfect.

I like it alot. Maybe if you could find away to reduce the fraying at the end though. It kinda makes it look like a worn out lego cape if you know what I mean. Other then that I like it.

I found a way to make some cloth be like LEGO's....really good...if interested I can look for the name on the bottle.

It looks pretty good so far. Can we see a picture of it with the trooper's arm raised (the side that the pauldron is on)?

Could you purchase this "printable fabric" in America?

Although you can see some white spots... still very well made.

Interesting...do you know what type of fabric it is? Printable cotton?

Those are the ones I used. I'm not sure if you can buy it in the US - it's a new product in the UK, apparently.
