Pacific Union Armed Forces

Post by Awesome-o-saurus on Sun Nov 08, 2009 3:00 pm

Figured that I needed to show off some more MOCs here.

In the year 2034, a second civil war erupted in America, and the USA splintered. Needless to say, the Pacific Union, a sub-nation of the Republic of America, takes up most of the west coast, from British Columbia to California, with several islands, such as Hawaii and the Marshall islands, and even territory in Chukotka, Russia, after a breif war. Now America is being re-united, the east coast slowly being siezed from the European re-colonizers.

TL;DR: It's a MOCpages group, a scenario, if you will. I'm a part of it, and with Gus Indo, Nick Shelton, and Sammy Harris, we make the Pacific Union. So here are the three MOCs I've done for it so far.

The HAT-1 Rainer. MOCpages: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/150757 In it's most recent deployment, only one was disabled, because it crushed a Prussian tank in a stupid but awesome ramming move. Yea, the Prussians are back.

The Artillery. MOCpages: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/159485 Not my best, just filler MOCs in an often ignored category.

The IF-2S Fulmar. MOCpages: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/164202 It's like my COP fighters, but for Earth.

Remember, if you want more pictures, click the link. It's that easy.

I'm liking the tank, the artillery guns, eh..not so much ,they look too...off, I guess. The fighter just looks a little too stubby for my tastes.

Don't worry, I'll make a longer one. And the artillery are off. They're fillers, remember?

Their great! The only thing is that you mixed in the white stripes on each side on the tanks.
It looks a little messy and ruins the orange lights. Otherwise it's awesome! Wow this thing looks

Sadly, I ran out of grey tiles. There's one photo on the 'Pages where you can see I took a rectangle of bricks and wedge them into creat the illusion of tiles.

These are great looking vehicles you've made AOS, I really like the jet design, especially the missile design of it, the design of the artillery guns, and tank look cool too. Did you name the tank after Mt. Rainer, or was that just a coincidence you named it that?

It is named after Mt. Rainer. Biggest mountain around my parts, so I named my biggest tank after it. All our tanks are named after mountains now.

Does this happen to be for The Lego Contest Network's army builder contest?

The tank is pretty good, but on the biggest piece of artillery, you should get rid of the studs.

Nope, it's for a MOCpages game thing. We go around and take over the world, occasionally fight eachother. And I'm working on a new version of the big artillery, it's slow progress though.

Tiles on the side of the tank would make it look a lot better. But otherwise these are all really well done!

Meh, the jet is a bit too flat. Otherwise, I really love that Tank. The little blend of white black and grey is pretty cool too. Surprised

Nope. I've lived in Oregon and Washington, and of both places, Rainier was the biggest mountain. Certainly bigger than Hood.

@Macaroni: Ever seen an F-22? That's flat.
