Creature of the Deep

A Lobster based creature of the deep. In the same genre as my [url="http://www.flickr.com/photos/24991648@N05/3901583620/in/set-72157622447460713/"]Torta[/url].

Not much else to say. It took me a few attempts to get it down correctly. It was flimsy until I found a gret connection in the back. now it has very high playablity, and trust me, this beast is fun to massacre mini-figs with.

I think the design is pretty good but I don't like the mix of colors.

I actually really like the color code...Except for the dark blue, fix that up and add a little more plates on it and it would be great.

I agree. I think that the dark blue should be green or black.

An alarm went off went I counted five colors. it seems too have a bit to many black bionicle pieces...

I think it needs more claws, fins and all that good stuff. Also, take out the dark blue and the sand green.

The basic shape is well done, but there are a couple of flaws. Try to have only 3 colours on a MOC (You can add extra ones, but only one or two. ) The tail looks a bit like random blocks only angled by angled pieces. IMO the face is brilliant, the body is too but could be tweaked a bit and have less colours.

Overall a good MOC, but could be better and have less colours.

Cool. Naboo comes to mind. Not fan of the "hands". Color choice is perfect.

I personally like the coloring, but I can see what the issue is. If anything, I should take out the dark blue. I wanted to go for something a little more multicolored, since that's how things actually ARE in nature.

Looks like something my creative cousin would make.

Not bad, though I spot some blockiness with 2x4 black bricks, if I'm not mistaken. Maybe I just don't like Bionicle mixes.
