The 80th Legion

Post by Knight on Fri Oct 23, 2009 2:45 pm

-Back story: The 80th legion was one of the most successful legions in the GAotR. It deployed during the battle of Geonosis. After the battle Master Zar Vin was given the place of general for the legion. The legion excelled in battles. By the time phase II armor was used over phase I armor, the legion stayed with phase I. By the end of the war Commander Knight, and other troops disappeared, that is how the legion got it's nick-name "The Lost Legion".

-Jedi master: Zar Vin grew up on Rhen Var. He lived in a small village, and was one of the few children to become a jedi from that planet. During the clone wars jedi master Zar Vin won many battles, but suffered death during order 66.

-Jedi Zar Vin's custom jedi starfighter.

-Commander Knight was a commando of the 501st but left the republic to become a bounty hunter. Little is know about how he was accepted back into a legion, but it paid of. He was one of the most inportant commanders, or if not the most inportant commander in the 80th legion. He was one of the best fighters the 80th legion had. Another inportant part was his custom armor, it was a bounty hunters during the old republic times.

I would agree with you a bit.
But I won't stop you 501st, I would like to see this a bit more organized with battalions and some pictures of your troopers and such. Wink

Agreed.
That, and the timeline is just too broken up. It just shifts from one place to another .

Because normal legions are too boring, generic and predictable - that why we make "broken" legions.

Oh, and this is a poor attempt at starting a legion...

Beh. I personally think that you should at least have a small legion description, legion emblem or symbol or whatever you want to call it and your regiments and battalions before posting a wip. Wink

I don't see why I would lock this topic, it is a WIP and is in the right forum Jens.

However 501st, I would like to see some leader images up and hopefully and emblem soon. Smile

I believe he's saying this isn't a Republic Legion...
Which, in all respects, it isn't.

Well, now seeing the pics, it looks TOO Generic. It's got no real color to separate it from other legions, it's just normal clones with some weapons.

I agree with Phaze. That's not even a legion, all the troops are like exactly the same. Also, there are no descriptions for the commanders, and only one clone commander when there should be four.

I don't believe this is a good start to your legion, the troops are boring and generic. There is no emblem(that should have been there first), also I'm not quite sure I like the number choice either. Oh and look another special legion! Mad

Isn't that what most Legions look like? Blank Clone Troopers? What's wrong with that?

'We' customizers think it's a little bit boring, but you can understand why though. He's just using cw clones and changing the weapons. Wink

If I were you I'd look at all the other legion colors(to make sure there not taken) and make a new color. Wink

Updated. Emblem added, and it was my first time using gimp so it is a little messy. My legion's color will also be dark bley.
