Which one is the best?
Blitz, Donner, and Steke
Alright, this is my first time painting, and I am pleased with them. But keep in mind that it may look a bit sloppy as it was my first time.
The paint I used with a toothpick isn't the best either.
Probably look a bit amateurish, but I tried my best!
As much CC as possible!

Ugh, helmets make me gag, and the torsos... meh. Nice try, but maybe find a better paint. Thinner paint.
Re: Blitz, Donner, and Steke
Yeah, it was harder than I thought, and this was honestly the best I could do.
Any recommendations for paint?

Re: Blitz, Donner, and Steke
Look at the games workshop variants. They are made to paint the figures in board games so they are smooth and thin.
Re: Blitz, Donner, and Steke
Sorry Gerrard, but I think these are just okay. One important thing I think is that after painting the bodies, the black armor outline should still be able to be seen.
And your paint job is okay for a first time but a bit messy which is why I prefer decals.

Re: Blitz, Donner, and Steke
Alright not much good to say about these... The paint is too sloppy/thick and names are unoriginal(naming them after reindeer?!?) I advise you clean the paint off and try again, but this time:
-Thin out the paint with water
-Mask off areas with tape(this will leave nice crisp paint lines that everyone envies)
-Apply one thin coat at a time, as opposed to a giant globby coat.(This will result in a nicer finish)
Hope this helped!
Oh and don't forget to change the names...

Thanks for the help Mr. Ganon, but if you noticed Blitz and Donner are Thunder and Lightning is German. So please don't get at that so fast.

Sorry I assumed too quick I thought:
Blitz=Blitzen
Donner=well, Donner
Just a mere coincidence I guess...

Well, if you were thinking about Santa, no it's not mere coincedence, Germany is where that happy holiday tale was started (if you still believe in Santa (or the tooth fairy for that matter (don't get me started on the Easter Bunny)) this is not the place for you anyways).
And I got ninja'd by Gerrard on the blitz and donner. But it's actually donnert.

Re: Blitz, Donner, and Steke
I bet your painting skills are good, but definetly try to get some acrylic, modeling, or glass paint to improve them.

Uh, no.
It's Donner, not donnert, trust me, I would know.
Re: Blitz, Donner, and Steke
Yeah, PhiMa would definitely know, and I should because i'm half German and speak it fluently.
Re: Blitz, Donner, and Steke
Ah!
No! Don't use paint again! Use a sharpie if must but not paint! Sorry Gerard I don't like them at all.
Remember though I’m a purist so keep in mind I pretty bias towards modifying in general.

Yeah, Blitz was probably the best, but I will redo them for everyone's sake.

Don't redo Blitz. The yellow one could just be re painted on the helmet. Just be patient with the paint and just put on an extra layer when it's dry.

Yeah you would. I have trouble with my German still, after getting out of German and moving into Latin. We learned weather in like the first week.
