King Tiger/Königstiger/Tiger 2 Tank WIP

So...I received my BL order yesterday, and was able to finally start my first Axis Tank (StuG III is a Tank hunter), the King Tiger, or Tiger 2.

Right now I've got the turret about half finished (Still need to fix detail, possibly shorten it by 1 or 2 studs, and lengthen the barrel) and the bottom half of the tank also about half finished (Don't have enough wheels for the other side, still need to add back armour and finish of the front. Figure for scale

I got the main idea for the wheels from Aaron Morse, but they actually look entirely different. C&C appreciated.

Looking great, but the transfer from gun to turret is too big.

WTF! I was starting on one of these... Maybe I'll do a Tiger I. Or II...

Looks good, I especially like the curve on the upper treads.

Treads look good, but you have to shrink the gun down a bit.

I know it's a Tiger II, I'm saying that since you're making one, I will just make mine a I the ORIGINAL tiger.

Just a current status report...buitl up the other side of armouring, started sloping the front, I've got an idea on how to fix the turrent and the exhausts, and I've filled out a BL order for the other side of wheels. Also forgot one wheel...so I'll have to lengthen it by about two studs.

Phima, I meant that you shrink the turret a bit. Overall, I think it looks okay, but the turret is just a bit too big.

I agree with troopa, shrink the turret. FYI you need to ad one more wheel. The real deal has seven, your's so far has six.

Actually, the real deal has 11, but whatever. I know I'm one short. I'll be fixing that.

Fixed the gun to turret differential, added the correct amount of wheels, added the MG and light on the front, but not too pleased with the MG, started a crew, added exhausts (not visible) and tracks on the other side.

It must be winter, because all those Germans have scarves.

Update. I've gotten the tread armour done and the hatch on the turret. Also, I'm now only missing the greebles on the top half, and I'm done. Comments?
