halo covenant revenant wip (now finished)

Post by blackninjatom on Wed Oct 07, 2009 9:16 pm

Now that I've finished my UNSC vehicle (the Wasp), I moved on to the covenant. I wanted a bomber similar in role to the destroyers in halo wars. Only this is smaller and more precise. Not happy with the front of the "engines" or the jsf wing on the bottom, so I'll be changing those before the contest deadline.

I agree, the "engines" need some work but other then that I think it's coming along great.

It's a nice start but the blue and the Grey don't seem to mix that well.

Looks okay for a start, but the engine connected- to- body part just doesn't look right. Wink

I agree that the engine part needs work, but the body looks like a great start. I hope it comes out as good as the wasp. Good luck in the contest.

I worked on this quite a bit the other day. I hardly changed the shape, but I reconfigured a lot of the internal supports, which allowed certain lines to meet up better. Just little stuff but it looks better and is stronger because of it. I think I was able to fix my two main concerns. The engine area is more streamlined, I flipped the intake pieces around (which was surprisingly difficult), and I added more greebles where the jsf wing is.
