Major WIP. Updated (12/3/09)

I first want to say that this is only 1/3 of the way done. I plan on making it about 16 studs wider all the way around and adding a speeder and maybe a clone AA gun to show where the engine is coming from.

This area on the very bottom shall be filled with command screens and alot of other stuff. And I will make it all uniform in color..

I am, as soon as I get the base plates, extending the mountain out to the gray brick.

Sorry about the pics. I don't know what is wrong with my camera. It was working fine for two of the pictures and then it looks like it got messed up..

Pretty nice so far, though I don't really like the section with the old grey.

Interesting, but depending on your camera, try setting it to "macro" or "super macro" to fix that.

Oh, and I guess the clone at the window was terribly hungry from the droid siege and therefore eating his comrade. Thus, resulting in a clone skeleton there beside him.

From what I can see it looks good. I can't wait til it's finished. Good luck DB.

The rocks are very awesome. The AT-RTs are really good too. Just fix up the floor.

Wow I really didn't expect to get this many comments. So I shall reply to them now.

Gerrard- Did that after I took the pics. Thanks for the input.

Pizza- Its my dads camera and I did something to it which I think only he can fix so that would account for the crappy pictures.

TB- Thanks. The walker is a new design legswise. I used Larry Lars head design though.

JJ-Thanks. I have spent alot of time looking at pictures of rocks to get these looking real. I want to make one more AT-RT so if you want to help... The floor has been fixed.


Update(verbal): I redid the lay out for this as I don't want to spend alot of money on base plates. I am going to make it a 56x48 instead of something like 64x56. I also made the one side rocky like the other so the whole MOC looks like a section of a mountain that is jutting out.

This is pretty cool. The mountain is really visually powerful, it has a great feel to it. But, might I suggest covering the tan bricks up some more, or replacing them with bley/dark bley ones instead?

In the first shot, my mind leapt to the Hoth ion cannon. You HAVE to put an artillery piece in that hole. That hole is MADE for an artillery piece. Just sticking a sniper in there isn't enough; make an artillery piece, a hyper-velocity gun, or an ion cannon. It'd be perfect.

Axel- I would love to cover the tan up but alas I don't have the pieces or the money to buy that amount of pieces.


80-0- There is a gun in there, a artillery gun to be exact.

I totally love it. The mountain is very nice, great work with the terrain grey bricks.

The mountain has perfect color and shape, and also the smaller formations to the side, can't wait to see the end.
