W.I.P 11th Midnight Heavy trooper
So anyway for my legion, I thought I'd start work on another trooper. Paint is still bleh. Any ideas as to what I could do?

Your using phase 2, which I like... He needs a heavy weapon and some black markings on his armour. And you need a way to make his blue visor stand out else it will get overshadowed by the helmet.

Hmm, maybe white on the inside around his visor? on his armour, markings like this?:

If your going to paint the inside, make the paint match the head underneath. Using a white head will probably stand out well on its own and you shouldn't need to paint the inside (lego blue is rather dark)

He's actually... surprisingly... very cleanly painted. The weapon is nifty and his detailing is sharp. My only recommendation is perhaps painting the interior of his visor white, instead of that god aweful blue. But please... continue to do that very carefully

Why.. Thank you sir! I was using the blue as like a tinted visor, and you do realise I can just change his head to change the colour? Or where you talking about me painting something else white?
Took some quick photos! The new barrel on the gun is freshly glued so I haven't sanded or pinted it yet, but I'll be sure to post pictures when I do!

And this is where I need the most feedback, should I leave the helmet with the 'pattern' it has now, or should I continue the white line the whole way?

Get some arealight macrobinoculars and paint them black with a blue stripe in the middle and put them on his helmet. That would be cool.
