101st Marines

Okay: the 101st need a marine force, so I decieded to put my snowtrooper helmets to good use. But I want these guys to be purist (Liberally). However, Phima has created marines VERY similar to these guys, so I want them to be different. I could use a CTSA PI pauldron, but then it would be a cross between Phima's and CT44s, and I don't want the final result to be full of "You copied my technique!" comments like CT's figure. I tried to use 101st pauldrons, but it bends them. I tried 101st Kamas, but the red doesn't look right.

Aside from taking them apart, what can I do to make them different?



Yeah, I need suggestions.

Well if you want them to be different you could always do a Zeph and stick a huge pink flower on them! Razz

You could paint the official LEGO Kamas and Pauldrons white (or just use the black ones) and stick em on, or you could cut some cloth, or make them Mecha suites! Or Jet packs, or puristify the guns with some pieces, overall, I rate them 9/10, they need jet packs!!!

Seriously Tac, all things Zeph and Watchmen aside, what can I do?

@Brick: How the can I give them jetpacks, when their helmets have a backpack attached to them? And I'm not modifying any peices to make these guys. I was toying with them having pistol holsters, or one being a BFG expert, and one being a normal trooper

I think still being purist this is the best you can do.

Yeah, you could make a jet pack with them! Put the bands around the back and secure pieces on! It all fits!
