I'm not a fan of megabloks, but I think the megablok M-16 painted black would be cool.

I obviously anticipated the negative response, but what if these weren't MB weapons?

Honesty if they were not MB I wouldn't like them still. Though the paint job is great, the weapon design lacks greatly.

They came as one color. He didn't make these. They're just painted megablocks. (Hopefully I'm not misunderstanding what you mean)
