Project 'Make Non-Lego weapons more appealling'
That's right, I'm doing what should've been considered ages ago and painting Non-Lego weapons to make them better. After analysing them, it becomes obvious that Megablocks have better weapons than Lego. Don't look shocked, you know it's true.
The real problem was that the quality of Megablocks was crap. I'm going to attempt to hide that issue, by painting over them, since paint makes anything look better is applied properly.
Expect pictures later today.
Edit: First results. My painting's a bit messy and rough around the edges, but here are 3 painted MB weapons.

Megablocks fail, the name just makes them fail, I will have nothing to do with them.

The problem is is that you can't use megablocks in some contests so you are still limited to TLC weapons on some accounts. But otherwise the idea is great (also I agree that megablock quality is CRAP!).

Shall I call them 'alternate weapons' instead?
You know Morgan19? He uses MB weapons. And his figs turn out epic.

It's not that they are bad looking or badly molded, It's all personal preference. Yours and M19's clearly differs from mine.

Obviously, MB is just a cheap copy of Lego, and I also share your dislike for MB in general. I just find modifying and potentially destroying MB elements to be much less heart breaking than Lego elements.

I have nothing against megablocks but I just don't like them. I hope it goes well for you.

I'm not sure what's going to happen, as I don't love Megabloks at all. They're just a lego wanna-be. I wonder what's going to happen, but I'm eager to see the quality.

Rotten?
I obviously anticipated the negative response, but what if these weren't MB weapons?

See...they don't seem like Lego Weapons, because all lego weapons are one pure colour. Brown, bley, dk. bley, black. Something like that.

You can put lipstick on a pig...
It's a nice spot of effort, but they still look just as inferior. I don't think they could look quite like a TLC weapon, no matter how muchlipstick paint you put on it!

Yeah but it's megacrap! Seriously if we need to start a new forum for Star Wars Mega Blocks then do it.
Edited: Changed title of thread and first comments of first post to make this acceptable to be shown on the CABG!

If you had made these, molded them and then painted them, they would look great, so they do look good yes, but I wouldn't put them in the same house as my lego still since they're still megacrap.
