Delta Squad

Post by blackninjatom on Sun Jul 19, 2009 5:46 pm

Everyone has to make a delta squad right?

Sev and Scorch are painted, with the rest using decals, made by me.
Hope you like them.

edit: I can't change the visors because they are on ebay, so as a substitute, here's a doctored image.

sigh, if only...

There all good, not everyone has to make a Delta squad. Wink
But, I think Fixer's helmet strip is off center.

I don't usually like custom made minifigs like this, but I really like these. Almost makes me wish I wasn't a purist... Almost. Razz

But great job. Scorch looks the best, in my opinion.

Man, those are awesome. Change the top strip of the visor to blue like so:

Then it will be perfect. Don't use this though as it is not good. It's done on paint.
Thanks CG for the visor template

Excellent, this must be my favorite Delta Squad I've seen, it's all applied smoothly, and Sev's paint looks quite nice.

They are perfect! I have found any delta squad will look different depending on the maker. Oh, and I see these are on ebay too.

yes they are, that is actually the reason for the black visors, it wasn't worth the extra work, if I was keeping it for myself, certain things would have been revamped.

frrylander55: I made all the custom parts, cloth shoulder, decals, and backpacks.

Those are very nice, clean, and overall awesome. What did you use for Sev's helmet decals? Paint?

Wow! These are just great! Only thing they're missing are the blue visors though. Why do they have pauldrons?

I think he added them to give them a "bulky" look.

So, as previously stated they are currently on ebay, and as such I can't change the visors. However I have updated the original post with a doctored photo, (as well as adding dc-17 rifles) to act a substitute.

DarthPineapple: the fabric shoulders were, as correctly surmised by, (insert name here), to bulk them up. They also cover the backpack neckpiece, which is an added bonus.
