Archaeological evidence of swastika-shaped ornaments dates from the Neolithic period. An ancient symbol, it occurs mainly in the cultures that are in modern day India and the surrounding area, sometimes as a geometrical motif and sometimes as a religious symbol. It has long been widely used in major world religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism.
-Wikipedia
Essentially, the symbol itself is not bad, just the people who used it and gave it such a bad reputation, the symbol means POWER, and I can see why the Nazi's used it, just wanted to point it out before anyone got mad about stuff.
Essentially it was an Indian symbol. So have you started?

Yes it's unfortunate that humanity can take a symbol once used for peace, elligance, and art and change it into having an evil meaning... But the whole AT-AT Star Wars Vs. Our Universe is an interesting discussion.
Well canonically, Earth is technically in the Star Wars universe:

How is this going LR? Did you "drop" the project?

Re: German AT-AT
Nope I haven't dropped the project, I'm not very far though. I'm working on an adaquette design for the head right now... In case you all didn't know I'm a bit of an intense perfectionist. If something doesn't look absolutely perfect from every angle, or if it doesn't completely resemble what I'm creating, then I have to either restart or fix it. The project has been delayed a little longer than expected by the way due to the lacrosse team I'm on going to the state championship! Woo!
Re: German AT-AT
Ahhhh perfectionists, I'm an anti-perfectionist, if it looks ok, it gets the job done.

And your models show your VERY hard work, I still can't get over your AT-RT!

Haha yep that was one of my best models I've modded yet! I try to make things look as detailed as possible, but still keep that "lego" feel to them. It's hard to define the feel, but most sets are fairly sizable, but not entirely accurate. I just beef up the detail.

Same here, mostly the exterior of LEGO sets are pretty accurate, but the interiors and ESPECIALLY the controls are seriously lacking!

Yeah, I think if they beefed up accuracy and detail to models that it would increase their sales. Especially if people like ROOK were working for them!
Re: German AT-AT
This is going waaaaay off topic, but I just noticed we have clone ranks now under our pics?! When did this happen?!!

Not too long ago, there's a new thread about it. Back on topic, are you building this from scratch, or modding a existing AT-AT?

Only a Rook could build this from scratch...

That's weird
I hope that answers your question though Astoria! Also C80-Oh, I find your lack of faith... disturbing
Re: German AT-AT
Will it still retain it's walking feature, that'd be COOL?! Do just like Rook does, throw force lightning at the faithless.

Re: German AT-AT
Hahaha! That is awesome.
Astoria, I'm going to try to retain it's walking feature (if possible) because the motorized legs lock into position when not on. Finding a way around that will be a challenge
But right now I'm still on the head but it's looking good!
