Torso Decal vs Torso/belt Decals

Which would you prefer?



is the extended belt design desired? yes or no?

upper leg design, desired? yes or no

It looks kinda plain without it.

Jedi Joe is right about that. It is a bit plain without the belt.

I'm going with belt, it looks odd without it.

With belt, it looks waaay to plain without it.

Belt.

I don't think there's much of an argument... the decals are definately needed on the belt and upper leg. It provides so much more detail, and looks to boring without it.

Or if you don't want to use the belt decal, use the black pelvis piece like Lego uses.

That is a good point, but some people want detailed clones.

Such as me, the belt is SO the way to go!

The extra belt looks the best.

ANOTHER question... Would you be willing to pay an additional $5-$10 more to have your clone trooper modified to have the decals on the upper legs and Belt???

Maybe 2-4 dollars, 5-10 seems way too high.

see but here's the thing, it takes a LOT of time and effort to put the details there AND be functional. You have to literally sand down the underside of the hip piece, which is no easy task. Each minifig takes and extra 10 to 15 minutes Just so the upper leg decals don't squish off when you move the legs. That is why it is SOOOOOO important if you actually wish to USE a minifig that you purchase to make sure that it either has NO upper leg torso design OR if it has upper leg decals that there are pictures of the minifig with the legs BENT to show that it is a fully functional minifig and not just a DISPLAY PIECE. I've spent months perfecting this technique.
