Riot at the Bank of Brentaal

Part of a widespread terrorist bombing campaign by the Separatists, the H9-M1 strain of Hive Virus was released into several bustling locations in Galactic City. The Coruscant Branch of Brentaal IV's banking firm was one of these targets. Over 10,000 people were present in the complex, that day - making transactions, buying stocks, and insuring goods. Business continued for roughly thirty minutes after the terrorists had released the pathogen into the ventilation system, when customers and bankers alike began bleeding from the eyes and eventually their entire face - as the pores of their skin began to widen exponentially. The hive virus, notorious for spreading quickly and causing madness, now was causing physiological damage: causing those afflicted with it to bleed slowly to death.

When gas-masked GCPD officers, and clones from the 541st who were supposed to be on leave arrived outside, the near-insane victims began to panic. As they destroyed anything they came in contact with, in a mad fit of rage, fires broke out inside the bank - exacerbating the problem. Faced with either fiery death, or the possibility of escape, the infected who hadn't collapsed and died now swarm upon the perimeter teams.







I'm debating whether or not to submit this as my Quarantine contest entry, or to do one showing the failed attempt to stop the virus's release into the ventilation system. I wish we could just post as many submissions as we'd like .

This is awesome sial. You really worked hard to pack in a lot of detail, and it certainly paid off. I'll have to work very hard if I want to try to beat you out in this contest.

The bottom level is awesome, the building is nice as well, and the infected people and the gas-masked GCPD (Whatever that might mean, besides Gotham City, unless it's Galactic City ) look well suited. Awesome job, no?

And the blue side, is that like the security camera recording of how it looked?

Dang this is awesome Sial. I like the GCPD officers alot and the use of the snowie helms as gas masks is very good thinking. All I see wrong is the windows, I would think the windows might be a little bit bigger with some type of force field. Other then that this MOC is a win.

Yeah, I was experimenting with the windows a little. I didn't feel like doing the drab square windows, so I went for triangular ones. It still didn't turn out as right as I'd have liked it .

One of your, if not the, best mocs yet Sial. You always do a good job incorporating those tan pieces into buildings, and throwing in some foliage here an there. Great background story as usual, you should honestly think about becoming a writer when you are older. My personal favorite piece in this moc were those chrome guards/soldiers. They look fantastic, and I might have to borrow them in the future.

When did the 541st get to Galactic City? I swear they were at Anison.

Other than the problem with time, amazing work! The "infected" really look like they are running for their lives. Bravo!
