Delta Squad

After about a month of hard work and fine tweaking, my Delta Sqaud are complete! (well apart form buying the DC-17's). I cannot thank CG enough for making the decals to go on the squad! Because I had extensive troubles trying to decal the legs without ripping (and failed) I painted the upper half of the legs, and because I clearly SUCK at painting, the legs are not very good. But hey, without further small talk, here are the pics!

C&C welcome, please keep in mind that this was one of my first attempts at decaling.

These are actually really nice! Boss' decals look very clean. But you should try to fix Fixer's upper legs if you ever have the time.

Boss looks great, But the red on Sev's face could be darker.

Yes, I went to every art shop in my darn town to find dark red, but i got stuck with crimson.

They look good, although I suggest you either fix the leg decals or remove them altogether. And Sev wouldn't use a Barret .50 cal, mainly because I don't think Republic Commandos used 21st century weaponry.

Sev's legs could be a bit more messy and darker but otherwise nicely done!

Am I the only one who thinks Scorch looks like he hasn't shaved in a month?

Great work. As you clearly suck with paint then you should stick with decals. Try using decal softener.

Well, don't you think Fixer may be the Medic, too? Because, in a Commando Squad, there is usually a Sarge, Sniper, Demolitions Expert, and a Medic. In some cases, instead of a sniper, there is a slicer. The Sniper does usually both. So, Fixer is probably a Slicer and a Second in Commando dude.

@moosa: In the game, all the commandos are "medics" they all have they ability to revive each other. And yes, Fixer is second in command of Delta Squad. THat's why he has two dots on his armor next to Boss' 4 and why Sev and Scorch have none.

LP, these are fantastic! I like Scorch the best. Though, Sev's helmet's "blood splatter" should be a tad darker.

Oh my. Having leg decal trouble are we? Tis a simple fix, just try sanding the places where the leg rubs the belt. Works every time!

On to the rest of the figs. The helmets are spectacular, and the arms a quite nice too. Keep up the good work!
