Here is the CW 501st trooper with lighter blue and color on back for you Darth Bizzle.

Not to nitpick, but I'm sure in the CW cartoon that the 501st were all white-jobs.

Hey guys, a question came to me that involves decals so I thuoght I could ask it here. So my question is how do you write words on paint and how do you write words in aurebesh?

There's an A symbol in the Paint toolbar - use that to type text.

To write Aurebesh, you need the TrueType file with the Aurebesh letters - get one from here. Then place the TrueType file in your Fonts directory (C:/Windows/Fonts for Windows - not sure about Macs) - Programs will load it automatically, so then you should be able to type Aurebesh in Paint/Word/GIMP/whatever...

Hey CG, just a random question:

You leave the grey shaded parts the same, even if the whole part of the armour is meant to be green (or whatever colour) - do you actually ike it that way?

I didn't know that really came into it. In the case of Gree, he is much like that;



If you meant the grey parts I think you meant.

But yes, I prefer it. It looks more 'lego-like' - as if it could be a mass-produced LEGO figure. That is, if TLC decided to expand upon its very select clone range.

It's just that when I make decals I colour in the shaded parts as well where I need to - I think it looks better and neater.

I guess it also less lego-ish, but with my minifigs I already do that with painting the inside of the visor, so it doesn't matter.

I'm fearing we may be talking at cross-puposes. Would you be able to indicate which shaded parts you mean? I'm a little confused..
