TOR trailer scenes - New figs (6-5-09)

It may piss off Sail, but the "Old Republic" cenimatic trailer is some pretty sweet MOC fodder, so I present to you another early draft of sorts. All I have so far is a test to see If I can support the bounty hunter without using clear pieces. It was a success! So I slapped it on a gray base and took some pics for you.

Not much yet, but it is going to be pretty fun to make.

Pretty good for the minifigures but can someone please tell me what TOR is.

Thats neat, but do you think you can add mor detail to it. I mean, the background is all.........well.........white.

Figs are too blurry to see. The baseplate is super meh.

Altogether. Meh.

TOR stands for The Old Republic.

T-B: I hope you're trying to be funny... The base is just a rendom piece I slapped the figs on to. It isn't supposed to be anything cool ( like I said in the firs post). I'll see If I can get better pics for you though.

I think TOR is The Old Republic, right? And Thunder I think he's just showing us his minifigure set up, and needed somthing to suport them, It's not a vig

That's not the point Wrecks. If he wants to show the minifig, then do it without the baseplate like most do. Adding the baseplate just makes it look worse. I can understand he wanted to recreate the scene with the figs, but if you want to put them in a scene might as well make the "scene" accurate and not a baseplate..

T-B: It is a small part of what will be a bigger scene... I put it on a base 'cause it isn't stabe otherwise.

Note that this is a WIP...

The figs are pretty good, I can't wait to see some detail on the vig itself!

You totally ruined the Republic Soldier. He wears a reddish-grey cap with a reddish-grey armor plating, and underneath of that he wears grey BDU's. The second type of soldier wears essentially the same thing but with extra orange armor plates and a orange and black Tantive IV-esque helmet. The next class is the Trooper, in his clone-trooper-eqsue... wait... I'm rambling.

Aweful Republic Soldier, good work on the flame effect, and the bounty hunter is above par , you Trailer-Monkey.

I've seen the trailer and the republic soldier dosen't look nothing like that!

Like some people already said, it's not a proper vig. And MBK, you look at 'most any MOC on the CABG, and it will have a plain background.

Looks okay to me, but I must admit, I'm not exactly the fountain of all Old republic knowledge.
