42nd vs. 815th Corps Challenge

I, on behalf of the 42nd Corps (Zepher, Jens, DP, and me), challenge the members of the 815th Corps to a MOC-off.

You are to build a small Vignette showing your Legion Commander/s in action

Rules:

1.Must be a 8x8 vignette
2. It must have your legion commander/s. Can be your Clone or Jedi!
3. Entries must be submitted by June 17th, 2009.
4. Give it a short description!
5. No SFX.
6. Keep Over-hang in check.
7. No stacking.

You should have said "No Overhang", IMO.

Stacking is what gives a vignette it's power.

Stacking is considered by almost all contests cheating....

You took out meh SFXs because you'd know I'd make it win . But, it's a non-lego element, so I will concede to your will .

Gah.... stacking would have allowed me to make a deeper battlefield. Okay, time for a rethink .

Sorry to sound like a n00b, but what's stacking?

It means don't start with a 8 by 8, and then stick a 12 by 12 on top of it, and then a 16 by 16 on top of that, making your MOC on a base of 8 by 8 techniquely, but the real base is a 16 by 16.

I thought stacking was stacking a bunch of 8x8 vigs on top of each other, keeping the 8x8 standard. Zeph, what you are talking about is overhang.

Yea, I never stack like that.

Yea 8x8 stacking is allowed and not really cheating at all.

Oh, but if pulled off, it'll look very nice. But wait, I'm not participating.

And I'm pulling it off quite nicely.... I love this vig to pieces. My most complex yet !
