OMG. Omega Squad.

Post by Chaotic Good on Sun Apr 26, 2009 9:08 am

Having updated the decals I made for PizzaMovies, I thought I'd create them myself.

I've decalled Niner's helmet. Just needs three more helmets now.

I've since removed the decals on Fii's and painted it black for Atin. Wink

I'll probably update them soon.

How do they look? Smile

UPDATE 29/4/09

Yes - I've decided to re-do that one with another helmet. I'm painting ( Hola Wow! ) it black.

I never usually use paint at all...I always use decals. Always! Wink

I'm not sure Omega squad is that small but for minifigure they look accurate and great!

www.clonecommandos.net and go to Profiles. Those are the colors of their original squads, the colors they wore into that first meeting before Qiilura, before the matte. As you can see, both Niner and Fi were blue. Darman was shiny silver from Theta, and Atin was plain.

Question though: Who is in the red? I've forgotten which is which already... I know Niner is blue and Atin is matte but which is which in between? And if it's Fi in between where is he red? Embarassed

I knew someone was going to say that, so I said this on Flickr:

Please note: Much Artistic License was taken with these figures.

Also, someone on Flick suggested I was going by the book 'Hard Contact'.

I suppose that's a good an excuse as any. Razz

Thanks; was it mentioned in Hard Contact that Darman wore red armor? If so, fail for me for not reading between the lines. Wink

Nope, just the Commando design. Wink

Wow, I never noticed that. Mainly because I not only know commandos aren't vain, that they wouldn't leave their gut open for a clanker to sizzle, and that they wouldn't, in all ingeniusness, paint it white for concealment.
