Decal Making Application's List (Software for PC/MAC).

Here is a thread made solely for listing Applications that can be used to make decals ect. Reply with the URL of the site that has the Application for download and I will add it to the list.

Also include if it is legal to down load it or "unknown", the Platform required to use it, and possibly a few Pros & Cons about the application.

As rook said something in my post I feel like it is ok for a double post.


Ok I have found a few applications that I will add soon. I'll also add what you said to add. If anyone has programs that fit what I am looking to add to this lost please reply back.

Draw Plus. http://download.cnet.com/Serif-DrawPlus/3000-2191_4-10000761.html I use it. CG uses it. Great program.

How the heck do you get on any of these? I've tried to, but there is too much downloading and registration. I'm looking for something that you can go into without any problems.

If downloading is a problem, I don't think you'll get too far with this.

The Drawplus registration is useless. I just put 'Chaotic Good' as my company.

But yes, if you do want to get a good program, you're going to have to deal with all this stuff. There's no other way.

But seriously, Inkscape or Drawplus look to be your best bet for this. Ignore any extra stuff, it's worth it!

GIMP is pretty darn good. It has everything I need to recolor.

I use Adobe Photoshop Elements. It's a really great program.

You've got a point, but I just realized, my computer is Acer. I couldn't get it if I tried.

OK thanks for the links guys. But in the future do you think it is possible to tell me what platform it works for,is it legal and is it free. Like what CG did on one of the ones he posted.

My laptop's an Acer, and I use PSE2.0 regularly.
