Droid Production Facility *WIP*

Well, I am making a droid production facility for my entry to 'aMOCican Idol'. I need some tips on how I could make some 'robotic' arms for the conveyor belt. So far I have the main structure and building done, I just neeed to work on some turrets and the actual conveyor belt part. I was thinking of using the treads from the Power miners sets, but wouldn't sure if it would work.

So what I need is:
1. How to make some 'robotic' arms?
2. How should I make the conveyor belt part?

I would have some pics but I don't want to give anything away.

I'm not doing the aMOCian idol thing so yeah.

I guess the power mines would be the closest piece. The conveyor belt is kind of smoother though...

The best treads for a conveyor belt would be the one from the boulder blaster as seen in the link.

It is on 4 green baseplates. . .But I only need the treads for a small part of the Facility. . .

This would be a folding piece. This was the closest thing I could find to the one that is flat.
