Calling all Rooks!

Hello, Rook, and all others. I was hoping for some help. Over at the Fineclonier there's a contest to build Automatons and Mechanical Assistive Devices. I've never built either. Hoping for some help in the area!

I saw that, I've never built either, so I'm experimenting with that building style. I bet Rook can help you, he's good at that sort of thing!

I was gonna enter because I've placed in two of the FC's contests before, but sirnadroj and morgan19 are to much for me.

Well the main draw back is that this is steam punk, it looks like mostly. So I would probably get disqualified. I lean more towards mecha or Exo-Force type robots.

However. Art & Design 101: Ask yourself these questions:

How many pieces is this going to be? 50, 100, 300, 1000? OR What size am I building? Tiny, small, large, XXXL.

What color scheme? Most likely grays, browns, or black, and possibly an accent color.

What is the Automatons or 'Mechanical Assistive Devices' function? Do I fly, swim, crawl, clean, kill, or play?

Then get some pictures posted like yesterday and listen to what others have to say and change it. Then enter!


DO NOT FORGET THIS IS ALL ABOUT MINIFIGURES. Use parts of minifigures in your MOC: Legs, heads, torso, arms, & hands!

Thanks Rook. I got an idea after posting this, and worked on it a bit. i'll post it in a bit. for the mean time, you guys can enjoy my competion!
