Version 2 of Commander Morse

Post by Heady on Sat Jan 31, 2009 12:57 pm

As Commander Morse of my legion wasn't that good, I decided to redo him. Here is the start of my efforts. Suggestions welcome!

Shut up! No one is better than me! Roll Eyes Wink

It looks good H3! A bit too much red for my tastes, but if you like it that's all that matters! It's very clean too!

Now just sharpie some of the body!

It looks so pristine! How'd you get it so evenly around the HUD?

You don't really have to get around the visor 80-0...

Sharpie doesn't show up on black...

No such word. Razz

Anyway, nice fig, but like everyone else has said, it needs cleaning up around the edges.

Thanks everyone!
Yeah, it's a tad rough. I intend to get a pack of Fine Point and Extra Fine Point Sharpies tomorrow, and then I can make it a lot neater.

That's looking a lot better already, though the sharpie is a tiny but uneven at some places.

Looks okay... Make sure you let it dry for at least 24 hours untouched if you have old sharpies or maybe even new or it might smear.

Looks like one of the better sharpie jobs on the web! So many times children make a 'custom' clone in just about 30 seconds with sharpie, and it just looks terrible. This is pretty good so far, you must have a steady hand.

Looks great!

I have one quibble though, the legs are kinda...well... bleh..

I would use the ultra-fine tipped pens for coloring the knee pads!
