WIP B1-Toxin Droid

Post by Alpha on Tue Jan 20, 2009 12:38 am

This will be the only mod I'll ever do, so this probably doesn't count. I'd like y'all to refer to me as a purist still, as I'm a purist at heart, and I wanted to hear feedback of my modding skills (Which I have none.) I'll probably scrap this, as there is a part on the headpiece which is unaccesable even by Fine Point.

The B1 Toxin Droid carries a MX-1138 Radiation Emitter, spreads a wave of toxic radiation in a diameter of 10 feet, which even effects fellow Droids. It also holds a very lethal gas, Trifaraleen, carried in a X-22 Assault Blaster. Used very rarely by the CIS, this unit only appeared 3 times in the history of the Clone Wars, and therefore, it is speculated that only a few of these toxic Droids have been made.

Your sharpie skills need work... Wink

It's not bad for a first try, quite clean in fact!

Sharpie isn't that great to cover large areas (except for black) and it turns out blotchy like that.

Yeah, I'll just keep this for now, and feature it in some of my comics.

Should've used paint instead of Sharpies. Acrylic paint really is better for bigger areas.

I actually really like you've used sharpie. Gives a more camouflage-looking look.

I tried the same thing and I got the same results, I thought the blotchy look would make the figure look good. Kashyyyk
