The 30 Hour Ship

Post by Rook on Mon Jan 19, 2009 10:35 am

The 30 Hour Ship

Well it is simple that. It will probably take me about 30-40 hours. I'm going for the largest ship yet. I'll give you all a hint. It carries an official Star Wars Lego Set in its Cargo hold. Hola Wow! (Yes I've done that before. But those were small sets. Razz )

Thursday: I spent about 3 hours.
Friday: 3 hours
Saturday: 2 hours
Sunday: 2 hours
Today: Currently 0 hours

Is it gonna be a Venator? Because it can carry a republic gunship AT-TE or an AT-AP.

Well a Venator is pretty much a Accalmator and the Accalmator is harder to make and to put sets in.

Which means only Master builders like Rook can make it. Roll Eyes

So it's a Minifig scale thing huh? Hmm that would make an enormous ship... Hola Wow! No way that could ever be a capital ship, I bet no one has the bricks to make a minifig-sized capital ship.

LEGO SYSTEM SCALE. Wink When you use MINIFIGURE SCALE but modify the specs to make it a set that wouldn't require truck loads of bricks and weeks of man hours.

Rook doesn't have enough brown to make a C-9979 Landing Craft.

Usually Minifig scale. System scale is just a scale Lego thinks is the most cheap and still good-looking. Like with the ISD and Venator playset. Or the MF. (Not the UCS one, that IS Minifig scale) Wink

You are correct. However you may have noticed a new trend in the new sets. Grey & Dark Blue. Wink

No it's the landing craft.

It's about 4'x3'x1.5'. The wings are just fracking huge!
