Green Arc trooper
Well, I'm back into customizing. Right now I'm working on a green arc. I have the helmet done so far...
It started like this...

Then went to this...

And is now at this...

Re: Green Arc trooper
Thats green??? Try using lime green sharpie it looks a lot brighter and more like the real thing (jet trooper from bf).
Re: Green Arc trooper
Seems blue to me... That's probably just the lighting, though. Could you tell us what medium you're using, 'cause it looks a bit like wax crayon at the moment.
It ought to look alright eventually, though, if you keep going like this; those lines are pretty accurate! Well done.

Ewwww, no. I think I might use some different paint though, this stuff has a very bad texture...

Ps, yea it is dark green
Re: Green Arc trooper
Agreed. Also try using acrylic paint and a sealant, that should help. I like it so far! How'd you get the visor though? The Jinja Ninja wrote:Seems blue to me... Re: Green Arc trooper
Yea...you can say what you want, but sharpie is better! You can get it off!
Try using a lighter green. Where did you get that helmet? That visor is really good considering you painted it.

Re: Green Arc trooper
@pdragon: I'm guessing it's a Wuzzie defect or something similar, as it wouldn't make any sense to take off the visor and then paint it back on... would it?

Re: Green Arc trooper
The bottom is a little rough. @Od I made my own decal by just estimating how big the visor was, then I drew it with a black pen onto some paper.

Re: Green Arc trooper
pdragon27 wrote:Why would you consider it a defect? I don't see anything wrong with it...
A defect is something that is flawed. Defected, is the preterite tense of defect, which means to swap sides in a conflict.
Sorry, had to
Anywho, it looks okay. I'm just not too big on customizing my clones. I'm purist
Re: Green Arc trooper
Now if this was me, I would be Sharpie-ing it...
But since this is you, I would use Axel's technique of painting, since you are using paint...

Modders are epic win. Back on topic, too! DY, if you use sharpie, then it would look better. But, it's still nice.Thunder-blade wrote:Thi--

Re: Green Arc trooper
Use lighter acrylic paint and sealant. I'm planning to do something similar to this, using an official CW helmet and purple acrylic paint...as soon as the Battle Packs come out!
